Spruce Woods Employment Service Centre (SWESC) offers employment related services and programs to community members and employers with the goal of strengthening the work force.
SWESC is a non-profit organization, which operates on funding from Training & Employment Services, Jobs & the Economy, which is a division of the Manitoba Government.
SWESC is overseen by the Carberry & District Development Corporation.
Established in 1992, SWESC has offered a variety of employment related services to community members, employers and organizations.
Spruce Woods Employment Service Centre serves the Municipalities of North Cypress-Langford, Glenboro South Cypress, the Rural Municipality of Argyle as well as the Town of Carberry.

The staff at SWESC are here to help you take ownership for your Employment Path! We provide assistance and guidance, which allow you to develop successful career tools.
Individuals can book time to perform job searches, work on their cover letter/résumé and submit applications to employers, at their own pace!
One-on-One Services for individuals (which require an appointment with a staff member) include:

~ Learning Interview Techniques
~ Career Decision Making Coaching
~ Referrals to various job-related program
Cost of Services
All Employment Services offered at Spruce Woods Employment Service Centre are free of charge! Individuals must complete Client Registration and Consent forms prior to receiving any form of employment assistance.
